Daniel’s upcoming Christmas album, a collaboration with producer Giampiero Scuderi, combines the sensuous musical elements from Spain, South America and Africa with familiar European and American carols. The organic sounds of native flutes, western-traditional classical flute and world percussion that comprise this CD will be available through iTunes, CD Baby and other distribution channels at the end of November 2011. The initial Christmas CD project is developing into a life-long plan to create music that reflects Daniel’s unique musical identity.
Daniel is combining perspectives from all previous experiences into this project. Aside from his current tryst with Giampiero, Daniel has collaborated in the United States with ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabakuro, Grammy-winning producers KC Porter and JB Eckl, Venezuelan harpist Carlos Guedes, and Austin’s premier Latin band, The Brew.
